food

Here's some good deals i've found:

Green cuisine in market square has really yummy vegeterian/vegan food, and a relaxed atmosphere and i discovered that their salad greens w/dressing is really pretty inexpensive (a few dollars or so?) as it is by weight. They have lots of other goodies, but just remember that heavier food costs a lot more..(like the fruit crumble, but it's oooh so good!)

also, sometimes they have a tray of different day old's that looked pretty decent...

another thing, chinatown often has less expensive produce, you can check around the different stores there to find the best price, and for something sweet try the bakeries there for sweet buns w/different fillings...(about $1 each)
